The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess (a.k.a. Tensei Akujo no Kuro Rekishi) is an upcoming anime that will be here in October, and ahead of this it dropped a trailer, a visual, and more info on the cast and crew.

Here are the just- revealed voice talents:
- Shunichi Toki (Babylon in I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince) plays Yomi Blacksarana
- Arthur Lounsbery (Yudias Belgar in Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!) plays Cheneau Clematis
- Atsushi Tamaru (Mikihiko Yoshida in The irregular at magic high school) plays Mika
- Tomoaki Maeno (NaNaNa Najahkoop in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War) plays Yamato Hydrangea
It was previously revealed that Yoshino Aoyama plays Iana Magnolia, M.A.O plays Konoha Magnolia, Shōhei Komatsu plays Sol Nemophyra, and Makoto Furukawa plays Gilford Dandelion.
Here are the new members of the crew: Yui Azumi does color design, Masaki Mayuzumi is in charge of art direction, Akira Shimozaki is the compositing director of photography, Shinsuke Ōshima is the 3D director, Keiko Onodera is handling editing, and Yasunori Ebina is the sound director.
The series is being made at Studio DEEN, with Hiroaki Sakurai of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. helming the project as director. The person handling series scripts is Mitsutaka Hirota, known for working on Edens Zero and Rent-A-Girlfriend.
Yen Press publishes the original manga by Akiharu Toka and gave this description for the plot:

Konoha Satou has a dark history, written throughout middle school—a fantasy adventure of love and magic about the Count’s daughter Konoha Magnolia and the knights who love her!
