Tomorrow marks the premiere of the first episode of the Tatami Time Machine Blues anime on Disney+ in Japan, making now a fantastic time to see how it all begins. The official channels came through with a peek at the super stylish opening movie, so check out the first moments of the adaptation
Tatami Time Machine Blues was created by Tomihiko Morimi and Makoto Ueda with illustrations by Yusuke Nakamura. The anime adaptation is being directed by Shingo Natsume (Sonny Boy) at Science SARU. Masaaki Yuasa previously helmed both the original The Tatami Galaxy anime and The Night is Short, Walk On Girl, which was a spin-off anime film. As for the international release of Tatami Time Machine Blues, we’ll have to wait for further details.
