One of the ongoing delights of the last two cours has been the anime adaptation of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which is about to add another new cast member. The latest to get in on the fun is Takahiro Sakurai, who will be playing a mysterious man known as Diablo.
Sakurai has a ton of roles on his résumé, from Griffith in Berserk to Reigen in Mob Psycho 100, Tentomon in Digimon, and many more. Here’s a peek at the character design for Diablo:
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, which sums it up succinctly:
Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer, and is reborn to an alternate world. But he turns out to be reborn a slime! Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.
