Sword Art Online is Getting an Original Anime Movie

A handful of Sword Art Online announcements came out of the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival, including the reveal of an original anime film. There aren’t too many details at the moment, but Tomohiko Itō will direct, light novel author Reki Kawahara will provide the story, and Shingo Adachi will handle character designs for the A-1 Pictures production.

The previously-teased fourth Sword Art Online game was also announced as Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, which is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan next year.
