Sword Art Online Anime Movie Shows Off Main Visual

The Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale anime movie is nearing its release, which is scheduled for a February 18 premiere in Japan. A one-night screening in the U.S. will follow on March 9, and we now have a look at the movie’s main visual.

The official website updated with the visual, which sports the tagline, “It’s just a game, or so I thought.” The film’s new story comes from original light novel author Reki Kawahara, and TV anime director Tomohiko Ito is returning to direct.
