July 2023 saw the reveal of a second season for Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, and now we know the spinoff followup is set to premiere sometime this year. In addition to announcing 2024 debut plans for Gun Gale Online season 2, the official accounts shared a new character visual featuring lead character LLENN alongside Pitohui (VA: Yoko Hikasa), Fukaziroh (Chinatsu Akasaki) and M (Kazuyuki Okitsu), confirming the latter three voice cast members’ return alongside lead Tomori Kusunoki.
Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online is based on the novels by Keiichi Shigusawa and Kohaku Kuroboshi, with Masayuki Sakoi as director, Yosuke Kuroda as series composition writer and Yoshio Kozakai as character designer at Studio 3Hz.

In the world of guns and steel that is Gun Gale Online, LLENN has been a devoted, female solo player. She is obsessed with two things: donning herself entirely in pink and honing her skills with consistent game play. She soon discovers her love for hunting other players (a.k.a. PK), soon to be known as the “Pink Devil.”
Meanwhile, LLENN meets a beautiful yet mysterious player, Pitohui, and the two click right away. Doing as she is told by Pitohui, she enters the Squad Jam group battle.
