Now that development on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is finally behind him, along with the end of daily screenshot posting, director Masahiro Sakurai has at least a little time on his hands. To fill in that time and stay in front of the camera for fans, Sakurai started his very own YouTube channel called Masahiro Sakurai on Making Games.
As the name implies, the channel will be dedicated to providing insight into the world of game development, offering up information suitable for everyone from total newcomers to industry veterans. Basically, if you’re interested in how games are made, this is the place for you, and you can find out more of what’s in store in the first video that explains the channel’s overall concept.
