September 13, 2020 will mark the 35th anniversary of the first Super Mario Bros. game, so Nintendo has been making some big announcements. According to Anime News Network, “Nintendo will release a Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. handheld device, as well as the following games for Nintendo Switch: Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Super Mario Bros. 35, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.”
Nintendo released a new video yesterday to discuss what’s going on.
The new stuff won’t always be around for long, though. Next month will see the launch of Super Mario Bros. 35 (only for Nintendo Switch Online players), but the game will only be available until the end of next March.
Likewise, the Super Mario 3D All-Stars (which has Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy) will only be around until the end of March 2021, but you’ll be able to get it physically as well as digitally.
