Takara Tomy is teasing a Transformers 40th anniversary video, and they have the folks at Studio TRIGGER working on it. First revealed at the Tokyo Toy Show 2024 event this week, the promotional video is teased as being in production at the moment. You can see the teaser for a subtle taste of what’s to come below.

TRIGGER shared the teaser, telling everyone to please look forward to it. Outside of the tease, there’s no indication on when we can expect to see the full video.
The Transformers animated series first aired back in 1984, bringing Takara Tomy and Hasbro’s transforming robot toy line of the same name to life. The overarching franchise is still going strong today, with the latest feature—animated prequel film Transformers One—set to open on September 20, 2024.
TRIGGER is known for a lot of fan-favorite works, including the likes of Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, PROMARE and, most recently, Delicious in Dungeon.
