There’s a SPY x FAMILY anime film in the works for a premiere sometime this year, but ahead of that fans in Japan will get to watch the first three episodes of the TV anime on the big screen. Thanks to the fact that the series won the Anime of the Year Grand Prize at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2023, a special screening is planned for March 12 at Tokyo’s Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas.
Tickets went on sale today for the screening, which will begin at 6:15pm Japan Time.

Crunchyroll is streaming SPY x FAMILY and gave this description for it:
“World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath!”
