Following episode 12 of the Solo Leveling anime, plans for a followup were officially confirmed. The news of Solo Leveling season 2 was announced in the video below, and the full title this time around will be Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-.
As for when we can expect it, we’ll have to wait for more info. Crunchyroll already announced plans to stream Solo Leveling season 2 as it airs, and you can see the brief teaser below.
Shunsuke Nakashige is directing the Solo Leveling anime, with Noboru Kimura writing, Tomoko Sudo on character designs and Hiroyuki Sawano handling music for the A-1 Pictures production. Cast members include Taito Ban as Sung Jinqoo, Genta Nakamura as Yoo Jinho, Haruna Mikawa as Sung Jinah and more.
The first season of Solo Leveling premiered on January 6, 2024 and is currently available on Crunchyroll in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.
Yen Press publishes the novel and manga adaptation in English and describes the story like so:
