You don’t hear it in this trailer, but the ending theme song is titled “Mikansei ni Matataite” (translated as “Twinkling Incompletely”) and performed by Oisicle Melonpan.

The show will consist of six episodes and launch on July 7, with Crunchyroll set to stream it.

It’s being made at Atelier Pontdarc, with Kazuomi Koga of Rent-A-Girlfriend and Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible helming the project as director. The scripts are being handled by Jukki Hanada, whose credits include Sound! Euphonium and Princess Jellyfish. The music is being composed by Kana Utatane, known for working on titles like Dead Mount Death Play and Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!

Yen Press publishes the manga by Shinichiro Nariie in America and gave this description for the plot:

See You Tomorrow at the Food Court Plot

Wada is an honor student who keeps to herself and has an air of mystery around her. Yamamoto is an intimidating fashionista with dyed blond hair and a shortened skirt. Though this unlikely duo seem to have nothing in common, it’s only during their daily meetings at the food court that they can be themselves!

The manga got its start in 2020, being published digitally on the website Comic Newtype. So far Yen Press has published one volume, while in Japan two volumes have been published.
