Beyond the TV anime, the horse girls of Umamusume: Pretty Derby are heading to the big screen in the Umamusume: Beginning of a New Era movie. The film opened in Japan on May 24 and has pulled in over a billion yen so far, and now we can see how it kicks off thanks to a new video.
The video in question comes from TOHO’s YouTube channel, which shared the first seven minutes of the film. Check it out along with Masayoshi Oshi’s theme song, “Ready!! Steady!! Derby!!” below.
