Sailor Moon fans will be able to check out a very special event later this month, with the official series website announcing that the USAGI BIRTHDAY Memorial Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Fan Meeting 2021 stream will be available for overseas viewers, as well. The event will celebrate the birthdays of Usagi Tsukino, AKA Sailor Moon, and Chibiusa, and original manga author Naoko Takeuchi whipped up a special key visual for the occasion.
For those wondering what to expect during the stream, there will be an “Oshioki Chibi Radio” talk section featuring Misato Fukuen (Eternal Sailor Chibi-Moon/Chibiusa in Sailor Moon Eternal) and Yukiyo Fujii (Eternal Sailor Saturn/Hotaru Tomoe), as well as a singing section featuring Akiko Kosaka, ANZA, and Yoko Ishida.
There will also be a mini Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Wedding Dress Collection fashion show and a performance by Sailor Moon musical cast members Riko Tanaka (Sailor Moon / Usagi Tsukino), Kanon Maekawa (Sailor Mercury / Ami Mizuno), Rei Kobayashi (Sailor Mars / Rei Hino), Kisara Matsumura (Sailor Jupiter / Makoto Kino), and Masuzu Aino (Sailor Venus / Mikoto Aino).
Tickets went up on ZAIKO on June 2 for ¥2,000 (about $18) a pop, and those who are members of the Pretty Guardians official fan club can view the special for a mere ¥500 system fee. That price will be applied if you join the club before 11:59pm Japan Time on June 18, too.
