Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions Season 2 Announces New Songs

Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions

The anime Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions (the manga version is titled Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective or Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri in Japanese) has a second season that will be here in October! Ahead of this a visual – plus information on the theme songs – were shared.

For starters, here is the summery visual.

The new opening theme song for season two of Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions is “Feedback o Narashite” (translated as “Playing Feedback”) and performed by Humbreaders. The new ending theme song is titled “Labyrinth” and performed by hockrockb.

Unfortunately, these announcements didn’t come with a video to let us listen to these songs. We’ll have to wait a little longer for that.

Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions anime launched a year before season two, in October 2023. Its second season was first announced in a few months later, in December 2023.

The Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions anime was made at diomedéa, with Shota Ihata of Girlish Number and The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent helming the project as director. Wataru Watari, who also worked on Girlish Number, handled the series scripts. The music was composed by Yo Tsuji, known for working on Miss Hokusai. Credit for adapted character design goes to Masakazu Ishikawa, who also worked on The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent.

MANGA Plus is offering the manga in English under the slightly different title Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective. It gave this description for the story:

Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective Plot

This unusual duo brings the hidden truth into the light! Ron Kamonohashi, a private investigator with serious issues, and Totomaru Ishiki, a pure-hearted but dim police detective, team up to solve the most baffling mysteries! A thrilling detective story for a new generation from Akira Amano, creator of “Reborn!” and “Ēldlive”!

Crunchyroll is streaming the anime adaptation.
