Release the Spyce, Original Anime Series About High School Spies, Announced

Release the SpyceOh, happy day. Release the Spyce, an original anime series with our favorite title since Just Because!, was just announced.

The series, described as a mix of “high school girls and spy action,” boasts original character designs from popular manga author Namori (Yuru-Yuri). It’ll be directed by Akita Sato, animated at Lay-duce, and star Manami Mumakura and Aya Suzaki, among others.

The main character is a high school student named Momo, a newly-joined member of a “private intelligence agency” who receives training from her master Yuki while defending her city.

We’ll bring you more spycy details as they’re released. And remember, he who controls the spyce controls the universe.
