Record of Ragnarok season 2 is officially a go. The anime adaptation of the manga by composition writer Shinya Umemura, story creator Takumi Fukui, and artist Ajichika previously ran for 12 episodes and was streamed on Netflix, and now a second season is in the works.
According to the announcement on the official website, the decision was made due to the overwhelming global response to the anime’s first season. There currently aren’t any further details, but you can see a celebratory illustration by anime character designer Masaki Sato above.
