Based on the dark fantasy manga by Daiki Kobayashi, the Ragna Crimson anime previously announced plans to premiere with an hour-long first episode on September 30. With less than a month to go, a new trailer has arrived for the adaptation, this time previewing the ending theme, “Linjiao” (“Precious Things”), by Watashi Kobayashi.
The Ragna Crimson anime is being directed by Ken Takahashi (Butlers x Battlers), with Deco Akao (Arakawa Under the Bridge) on scripts and Shinpei Aoki handling character designs for the SILVER LINK production.
The anime has already been licensed by Sentai Filmworks, and Square Enix Manga & Books publishes the original manga in English. Here’s the official synopsis:
Dragon hunters: warriors armed with special silver weapons who kill their prey for bounty. Lowest among their ranks is Ragna, who forms an improbable partnership with the young genius Leonica, a master dragon slayer with more kills to her name than almost any other. All Ragna wants is to stay by Leonica’s side, but his dream is shattered by an attack from the deadliest dragon imaginable…
