Quick Promo Teases Tamako Love Story Anime Film

Kyoto Animation’s Tamako Market anime is getting its very own film in Japan next year with the April arrival of Tamako Love Story. The studio recently uploaded the film’s first teaser, and while it’s a quick one without any real animation, it certainly gets the teasing job done.

The same staff—including director Naoko Yamada (K-ON!) and head scriptwriter Reiko Yoshida (K-ON!, Girls und Panzer)—returns for the film, which opens in Japan on April 26, 2014. Early ticket purchasers who start claiming their spot on January 4 will be treated to a special clear file and a ticket sporting the key visual.
