October 21, 2015 You may recall some casting news about the 2017 Power Rangers movie popping up earlier this month when Naomi Scott was announced for the role of the Pink Ranger. The reboot—directed by Dean Isrealite (Project Almanac), with Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz writing the script—is moving forward with more announcements, and the latest reveals up-and-comer Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger.
