The continuity of the Pokémon movies has been more deeply intertwined since the release of 2017’s I Choose You! movie. Now that saga is continuing in a new anime film called Pokémon the Movie: Coco, which returns for more traditional animation fun with director Tetsuo Yajima (Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us) at the helm.
Long-time Pokémon writer Atsuhiro Tomioka is on the script and OLM is producing, but we’ll have to wait for more details about the plot. For now we know it’s set to premiere in Japan on July 10, and a new teaser is here to fire up the hype.
