Pokémon Creator Inspires Autobiographical Manga
Pokémon fans in Japan can now get further insight into the mind behind the phenomenon, series creator Satoshi Tajiri. Shogakukan published an autobiographical story in the form of a manga, with additional commentary provided by none other than Super Mario Bros. mastermind Shigeru Miyamoto.
Shogakukan Edition Learning Manga Special, Satoshi Tajiri: The Man Who Made Pokémon is a 160-page manga that covers Tajiri from his upbringing and passion for insects that inspired Pokémon in the first place to his entry into the video game industry and beyond. The book also contains some of Tajiri’s columns and other insights into the world of game development.
The Satoshi Tajiri manga is now available in Japan.
