This September will mark the kickoff for the 25th anniversary celebration of the Persona series, and it sounds like Atlus has a lot in store for us. The folks behind the beloved line of RPGs have opened a 25th anniversary website, teasing seven projects for the occasion.
So far, we know that those projects will include everything from special merchandise to events, collaborations, and yes, new game info. This is going to be an entire year of fun, with announcements planned from September 2021 to Fall 2022.
There’s no real info on what to expect from the game announcement. It could be the next main entry in the series, or it could be a spinoff, remake, or something else entirely! We’ll have to wait until they’re ready to announce it… sometime in the next year or so.
For now, some of the merch is already up for pre-order—including t-shirts, posters, pins, and more—via the Atlus D online shop and the Animate online shop ahead of a September 18 release.
