Onimusha Anime Reveals Premiere Plans on Netflix

Following its reveal almost exactly one year ago, a premiere date is now in place for the Onimusha anime. The adaptation of Capcom’s supernatural samurai action game series has film director Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, Yatterman, Dead or Alive) supervising, Shinya Sugai directing and Sublimation handling animation production. It’s officially set to touch down on Netflix around the world on November 2, 2023.

Cast members include Akio Otsuka, Hochu Otsuka, Daiki Yamashita, Subaru Kimura, Katsuyuki Konishi, Kazuyuki Okitsu, Makoto Furukawa, Aya Yamane, Ryohei Kimura and Toshihiko Seki. Legendary actor Toshiro Mifune has been used as the likeness for Miyamoto Musashi, and the main theme song will have Måneskin performing “THE LONELIEST.”
