If you imagined a teaser for One Piece Film Gold you probably pictured the exact one Toei put up on the official website. A video debuted with a bunch of molten gold cascading through the logo of the July 23, 2016 film, promising that “The world will be plundered.”
As previously reported, Hiroaki Miyamoto (3rd chief director of the One Piece TV anime) helms this outing, with Tsutomu Kuroiwa (Liar Game) on the script and series creator Eiichiro Oda on board as executive producer.
The first batch of advance tickets are now on sale in Japan, offering a limited amount of Gold Kintarō Luffy clear file folders with art by Oda as a bonus.
A new trailer also recently debuted for upcoming TV special One Piece – Adventure of Nevlandia –, which premieres on December 19.
