It was just a few days ago that we learned the Oi! Tonbo anime—which is based on the golf manga written by Ken Kawasaki and illustrated by Yu Furusawa—will be premiering this April. In the time since, a new trailer made its way online to preview more of the adaptation. Check out the latest promo below.
The Oi! Tonbo anime is being directed by Oh Jin koo, with Mitsuki Hirota on series composition and Kei Takeuchi adapting the original character designs. Nobuko Toda is on music and animation production is being handled by OLM.

Igarashi, who Left the past behind and running away from the world, moved to the Tokara Islands in Kagoshima Prefecture. On Hinoshima Island, which is said to be “the last unexplored region in Japan,” Igarashi meets Tonbo, the only junior high school student on the island.
