NYCC: Konami’s X-Men Arcade Classic Headed for XBLA/PSN

Is there any better bonding activity between friends than kicking butt as a stable of classic mutant heroes (and Dazzler)?

I say no, and thankfully so does Konami. As revealed at Marvel’s New York Comic Con presentation, Konami’s classic X-Men arcade game will soon be making its way to both Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

According to the unveiled trailer, that means you’ll be able to rock six-player drop-in online co-op beat ’em up action, which is the only way to play. So there you have it, no more depending on that dusty old dual-screen cabinet wedged in the shadows of your local apothecary. You may now commence the outrageously loud Colossus yells.
