A sparkly new trailer has dropped for the upcoming anime Nina the Starry Bride. On top of getting to see more than two minutes of pretty footage, the trailer shares info on the cast and crew, announces the series will launch on October 10, and lets us hear clips of both the opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme song is simply titled “nina” (not capitalized) and performed by Maaya Sakamoto, while the ending theme song is called “Hoshi no Dengon” (translated as “Messages From the Stars”) and performed by Nao Toyama.
Plus there’s this key visual of Nina the Starry Bride to check out.
Looking toward the cast, Minami Tanaka plays Nina, Yuichiro Umehara plays Prince Azure, Koki Uchiyama plays Seto, the aforementioned Nao Toyama plays Muhulum, and Tatsuya Tomizawa plays Dytus.
Nina the Starry Bride is being made at Signal.MD, with Kenichiro Komaya of Kizuna no Allele helming the project as director. The music is composed by Natsumi Tabuchi, who is known for working on My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! The art director is Masakazu Miyake.
Kodansha USA Publishing offers the original Nina the Starry Bride manga by Rikachi in English, and gave this description for its story:

Nina had a rough start to life, stealing to survive—and eventually being sold into slavery by her own brother. But to her surprise, her captor, Prince Azure, ordained that she would live the life of a princess…specifically, that of the recently deceased princess-priestess, Alisha.
