If you’re keeping up with the TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 anime, there’s more to look forward to as the adaptation of the novels written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto continues. With a new story arc beginning, the official accounts shared a new trailer and key visual for the series, and you can check both out below.
There’s also a new ending theme for the anime in Kaori Maeda’s “Joushikihazure Hyuman” (“Out-of-the-ordinary Hyuman”).
Shinji Ishihira, whose credits include Fairy Tail and Log Horizon, is reprising the role as director for the second season. The music continues to be composed by Yasuharu Takanashi, who has also worked on Fairy Tail and Log Horizon. The person in charge of series composition is Kenta Ihara of Saga of Tanya the Evil.

After Makoto Misumi defeats Mitsurugi and Sofia Bulga, humanity is saved from the attacking demon army—for the time being. The goddess is aware of Makoto’s growing power, and she sees him as less of a nuisance and more of a rival. Makoto continues his journey to further expand his community of outcasts and connect with more hyumans. But will he be strong enough to hold off the coming storm?
