As promised, a video presentation arrived to reveal more details about the Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl remakes, appropriately known as Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl. The Pokémon Presents video showed new trailers for those, as well as the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Arceus game, which aims to offer up something a little different for Pokémon fans.
The Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes take the originals and add more than a coat of paint. As Pokémon Presents revealed, there are plenty of new features and updates to existing aspects, including the Grand Underground, Pokémon Hideouts, the Super Contest, and more. Check out what’s in store below.
As for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the action-RPG is set in the land of Hisui, which is the previous name for the Sinnoh region. Arceus has the player heading to the region to help the studies of the Galaxy Expedition Team, joining the Survey Corp to venture out into the wilds, study and catch Pokémon, and take on new challenges in battle. One of those challenges is the fact that Pokémon can now attack the player, and if too many do so the player can black out.
