A new teaser trailer for Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story 2nd Season -Eve of Awakening- was just released on Twitter, and in it you can hear opening theme song “Careless” being performed by ClariS.
Though you don’t hear it here, ending theme song will be “Lapis,” performed by TrySail. These are the same two music acts who previously did the opening and closing themes for the first season, only it was switched on who did what.

The second season makes it debut in the early morning hours of August 1 and will be streamed for American audiences by Crunchyroll, Funimation and HIDIVE. HIDIVE and Crunchryoll will make it available to their viewers on August 7.
The anime’s first season came out in 2020, and at that time Crunchyroll, Funimation and HIDIVE were doing simultaneous streamings.
