Inio Asano, he of Goodnight Punpun, Solanin, Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction and more, is deep into writing his latest manga. It’s called Mujina Into the Deep, and the first collected volume just came out in Japan.
To hype up the release, Big Comics has released an animated trailer that shows off some of the intense sword-based action from the manga. It also makes us wish someone would animate the whole manga, not just 20 seconds!
Here’s how Shogakukan describes the manga, which is currently running in Big Comic Superior:
Manga enters the next “realm” – the latest work by top-runner Inio Asano! What is the true nature of the Mujina, who fly in the sky with swords on their back and kill people in the midst of ordinary life? What is a human being, what is society, what are human rights, and what is happiness?
