New Game! Anime Gets Second Season

Fans of the New Game! anime—based on the four-panel manga by Shōtarō Tokunō—can soon look forward to more. According to an announcement made during this weekend’s Next Level Fan Appreciation event, a second season of the anime is currently in the works.

Cast members reunited at the event, which took place at Toyosu PIT. Fans were able to get tickets for the Fan Appreciation festivities through purchases of the first two Blu-ray releases of the anime. Tokunō’s manga has been running since 2013, and the fifth volume was released back in July.
