New Fate/stay night Anime to Premiere This Fall

Some more news surfaced regarding ufotable’s upcoming Fate/stay night anime adaptation. This week’s volume of Kadokawa’s Type-Moon Ace magazine is set to announce that the anime will make its debut this fall.

Takahiro Miura (episode director on Fate/Zero and The Garden of Sinners) is lined up to direct, but the anime’s format has yet to be specified. Takashi Takeuchi’s original character designs are being adapted by Atsushi Ikariya, Tomonori Sudou, and Hisayuki Tabata.

The Fate/stay night visual novel was previously adapted into a Studio DEEN produced TV anime in 2006, and the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works film followed in 2010. Both were most recently released in North America by Sentai Filmworks.
