Back in July, the title was revealed for the next Dragon Ball Super movie along with a tease of Goku’s new animation style. Now a second teaser is here, this time showing more of the CG animation Toei is using to mix things up this time around.
Featuring heavy involvement from series creator Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is currently set for sometime in 2022, and you can see characters both new and old in the video below.
This all went down during the ongoing New York Comic Con event, which also saw the debut of a new key visual. Lead voice cast members Masako Nozawa (Goku, Gohan) and Toshio Furukawa (Piccolo) said their work is done as far as the Japanese language recording is concerned.
We’ll have to wait for more details, including a more concrete release date. In the meantime, let us know what you think about this CG-animated take on the Dragon Ball Super series!
