Keisuke Itagaki’s long-running Baki manga is coming back in the form of a new TV anime, with Netflix streaming it for Japanese audiences first this summer. International streaming will follow in fall, and the official Twitter account is here to get us pumped for the fight with the very first visual.
Baki‘s latest anime adaptation will focus on the Most Evil Death Row Convicts arc from the second manga installment, Baki, which originally ran in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine from 1999-2005. This series followed the original Grappler Baki manga’s 1991-1999 run, and there have been two other series since.
