Netflix’s Live-Action Death Note Teases Ryuk

The live-action U.S. Death Note movie is coming to Netflix on August 25, but thanks to some temptation from Ryuk on Twitter, director Adam Wingard (You’re Next, The Guest) went ahead and shared a little peek. It’s not another trailer or anything, but the image he tweeted offers a nice tease of the Shinigami.

Willem Dafoe plays Ryuk in this version of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata’s story. Here’s an idea of how he (or his CG counterpart if they fully go that route) will look this August:
