The August 2020 issue of Otaku USA magazine is in the hands of readers as we speak, bringing with it a white-hot cover story on My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising. The latest big screen outing for one of the most popular anime series of the last decade is just the tip of the iceberg, though, so let’s take a quick look at what you can expect from the newest issue.
First of all, as you’ll find out in the issue itself, this outing marks our 14th YEAR of publishing Otaku USA! It’s hard to believe it’s been that long, and we definitely couldn’t have done it without the support of our loyal supporters, both in terms of longtime readers and all you newcomers out there. We’d love to hear from you, too, so keep those letters coming and let us know more of what you’d like to see in the future.
Even with a major milestone under our belt, we’re not taking it easy. In addition to the Heroes Rising cover story, you can look forward to features on BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt So I’ll Max Out My Defense, Dorohedoro, and a double dose of Masaaki Yuasa and SCIENCE SARU goodness with stories on Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! and Ride Your Wave.
