My Hero Academia Manga Breaks 50 Million Copies in Circulation

Publisher Shueisha has referred to 2021 as “My Hero Academia Year,” and it’s no wonder. The fifth season just debuted, its third movie will come out in a few months, it’s getting its own art exhibit, and now we’ve learned that it has more than 50 million copies of the manga in circulation.

About 37 million of those sales have taken place in Japan, with 13 million coming from readers in other countries. And with the release of the thirtieth manga volume, Shueisha has created a new website to celebrate the franchise.
