There’s definitely been a void in our anime viewing lives since the My Dress-Up Darling anime came to an end, but hopefully we’ll learn more about its future soon. The anime series recently revealed some interesting plans, with the My Dress-Up Darling Eh?! It’s OMG crazy to see you all! ~ special event set to kick off at J:COM Hall Hachioji in Japan on September 17.

A bunch of guests will be on hand for the occasion, including voice actors Hina Suguta (Marin), Atsumi Tanezaki (Sajuna) and Hina Yomiya (Shinju), as well as opening theme song performer Spira Spica and ending theme song performer Akari Akase. Advance tickets will be available to those who purchase the fifth volume of the anime’s Blu-ray/DVD release.

The first season of the My Dress-Up Darling anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. Here’s the official synopsis:

Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi–a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Though he’s gung-ho about the craft, he knows nothing about the latest trends, and has a hard time fitting in with his class. The popular kids–especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa–seem like they live in a completely different world. That all changes one day, when she shares an unexpected secret with him, and their completely different worlds collide.
