July 23, 2015 The 1985 Vampire Hunter D anime adaptation, which was directed by Toyoo Ashida at Ashi Productions, is coming back to home video on August 25. Sentai Filmworks has been trickling out announcements regarding the new English dub cast, and they recently revealed Luci Christian, who will be playing Doris Lang.
Prior to that, Sentai revealed David Wald as Count Magnus Lee.
Synopsis:
For 10,000 years, Count Magnus Lee has walked the night, sustained by an unholy thirst for blood and an unending lust for human women. But when he tastes the sweet nectar running through Doris Lang’s veins, the Count knows he has found more than his next meal: this is the woman he intends to claim as his next vampire bride.
