The new Monster Strike anime film, Monster Strike THE MOVIE: Lucifer – Dawn of Despair, was originally supposed to hit screens in Japan this June. Like many movies and TV series, COVID-19 complications caused a delay, but now we finally know when to expect it.
Lucifer – Dawn of Despair will now hit theaters in Japan this November. There’s another way to watch it earlier, though. A special live stream is on the way to YouTube, splitting the movie into two parts on June 13 and 14. The stream won’t be archived, so fans will need to tune in at 7:00pm Japan Time (6:00am ET) both days to catch it.
Here’s a preview from March:
Kobun Shizuno is directing the movie at anime production houses anima and DYNAMO PICTURES, with XFLAG on production.
