If you’re anything like us, you haven’t been able to stop thinking about Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury since the anime’s season finale. Fans in Japan will soon have another outlet for that excitement, because a side story manga is officially set to launch in the pages of Kadokawa’s Gundam Ace manga this spring.
According to the announcement, the side story will take place several years after the Vanadis incident, following a surviving witch named Vilda Miren who wanders Earth with a curse of some sort. The scenario is credited to Ko Yoneyama, with HISADAKE on planning cooperation, mogmo on original character designs and Chika Tojo handling the art.

A.S. (Ad Stella) 122― An era when a multitude of corporations have entered space and built a huge economic system. A lone girl from the remote planet Mercury transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology, run by the Beneritt Group which dominates the mobile suit industry. Her name is Suletta Mercury. With a scarlet light burning in her pure heart, this girl walks step by step through a new world.
