The My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero manga is being released in America through Seven Seas Entertainment, but it was put on hiatus last year as artist Hiroyuki Aigamo was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, a form of cancer found in the uterus. Aigamo has recently given the public an update on her health.
She has undergone surgery, and currently she has stage I cancer that is unlikely to metastasize. Her life has gradually been getting more like it used to be, and in June she began getting ready to get back to the manga. At first she was only doing a bit of office work and emailing people. She is under strict doctor’s orders not to overwork herself, and she says her publisher is keeping tabs on her and they get what she’s going through.
