Based on the manga by Mashiro, the Loving Yamada at Lv999! anime now officially has a premiere date, and there’s a new preview to go along with it. The show kicks off in Japan on April 1 at 24:30 Japan Time—essentially April 2 at 00:30—so let’s take a look at the character trailer for Akane Kinoshita while we wait!
Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru) is directing the anime, with Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) on series composition and Kunihiko Hamada (Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card) handling character designs at Madhouse. Koki Uchiyama voices Akito Yamada and Inori Minase voices Akane Kinoshita.

Recently dumped, Akane is just about to quit the game she used to play with her boyfriend, when she meets Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life turns out to be somewhat of a legend.
