Beyond Idris Elba, who provides the main character’s voice and reprises his role from the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 film, there are a bunch of characters in the upcoming Knuckles spinoff series. The six-episode event kicks off on Paramount+ on April 26, and ahead of that a new trailer is here to introduce the cast and show off more footage.
Jeff Fowler, the movies’ director, is in charge of directing the pilot episode. Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, and Toru Nakahara continue to work as executive producers, with Elba joining them on this endeavor. John Whittington was one of the writers for Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and he’ll be the main writer for the series, in addition to being an executive producer. Adam Pally, Rory McCann and Tika Sumpter will all be involved in the cast.
