Piano vocal unit duo Kitri—which consists of older sister Mona and younger sister Hina—provided one of the two ED theme songs for the Komi Can’t Communicate anime. After “Sympathy” was used in the first episode, Kitri’s “Hikare inochi” took over starting at the end of episode two, and now a music video is here for the song.
Up-and-coming director Kan Yamamoto is at the helm for this one. Yamamoto previously won the Kyoto International Film Festival’s Grand Prix at the Creators Factory honor for Black, and the “Hikare inochi” music video has the director working with actress Himena Tsukimiya, who was previously seen in Burst Machine Girl.

Komi Can’t Communicate hit TV in Japan on October 6, with worldwide streaming to follow on Netflix on October 21.
