Many companies are having to make tough decisions at the moment for the better safety of their employees. In the case of Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima’s company, Kojima Productions, the studio has officially closed its doors for the time being after learning one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus).
Kojima Productions issued a press release that didn’t name the employee, simply describing him as a man in his 40s. He was last in the office prior to exhibiting symptoms, so Kojima Productions wasn’t forced to close, but the company decided to do so to exercise caution and further protect staff members.
Hopefully the employee in question was the first and last in the company to come down with the virus.
