Kimio Alive Manga Creator Kosei Eguchi Passes Away

A sad announcement has been made via Monthly Shonen Magazine‘s editorial department, with the news that Kimio Alive manga author Kōsei Eguchi passed away on August 19. According to the statement, Eguchi was taken to the hospital in an emergency on August 17 and passed away two days after that. Eguchi was just 23 years old.
No specific cause of death was revealed in the statement.
Eguchi formerly went under the pen name PEYO, and debuted in 2018 with the manga Boy Meets Maria. The ongoing Kimio Alive manga followed in October 2019. Kodansha has since published two collected volumes.
