The Karakuri Circus anime—based on the manga by Ushio & Tora author Kazuhiro Fujita and featuring the same director as that title’s anime adaptation, Satoshi Nishimura—premiered back in October 2018, and now it’s coming to HIDIVE. The series previously saw a release on Amazon Prime and on home video through Sentai Filmworks, and its streaming debut via HIDIVE is scheduled for January 31.
The update will include the debut of the first 12 subtitled episodes of Karakuri Circus.
Here’s how HIDIVE describes the series:
Following his father’s untimely demise, Masaru Saiga inherits the family fortune as well as his father’s company. Too bad he also inherited a target on his back since his unscrupulous relatives want to murder Masaru and take what’s rightfully his! The only thing standing between Masaru and assassination is a sickly clown named Narumi Kato, a white-haired girl named Shirogane who claims she’s Masaru’s guardian, and the mysterious puppet left to Masaru by his father upon his death.
